We start by identifying the business problem and documenting business, functional and technical requirements and constraints. This criteria balanced with knowledge and research of the software product domain creates a vendor short list.

Next, we focus on creating and managing a Request for Information, Quote and/or Proposal (RFI/RFQ/RFP) process, and vendor demonstrations. We prepare evaluation criteria and demonstration scripts covering the business needs of all stakeholders. Standard requests and demos provide a uniform method of evaluating each vendor’s solution and help ensure that important deficiencies are surfaced.

Finally, we help facilitate the vendor selection decision. At the conclusion of the evaluations, the results along with input from each stakeholder are organized and summarized into an executive presentation showing the strengths and weaknesses of each vendor solution based on needs and benefits against costs. Customer references and proof of concepts can further validate findings. With these, we prioritize the alternatives against the evaluation criteria and work to a decision.

JiT Technologies can also deliver a transition roadmap that is based on the chosen vendor. The transition roadmap serves as a guide for the future implementation. Transition plans include cost estimates, high-level project planning, and a gap analysis that reveals potential shortfalls of the selected approach. It addresses factors such as high level data migration, transition period support, implementation risks and associated mitigation strategies as relevant.
